Leph Louie is a new school rapper with old school flavor. The VA native enjoys giving people an experience with classic rap lines and a delivery reminiscent of Hip Hop legends. Besides charisma, Leph Louie also has showmanship most likely from performing with rappers like Yo Gotti, Project Pat, Twista, Kirko Bangz, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Lil Scrappy, OJ da Juiceman, Maino. Most upcoming rappers would have a huge ego with such a resume but not Leph. The rapper is a team player collaborating with Project Pat, Riff Raff, J.R. Writer (Dipset), and Soulja Boy (Mo-Thugs). Clearly Leph did not come to play, he is here to work. Since High School, Louie has been “putting in that work” with some legendary acts. However, “rubbing elbows” with some of Hip Hop’s favorite artists did not change Leph. The rapper remains humble continuing to make connections and working towards that “big break” in the music industry. Leph feels that Hip Hop is in a good place and will continue to grow with the right balance of music. Indeed, Louie mixes it up with turn up and more reflective music on albums. As Hip Hop shifts in subgenres, people can lose sight of what the artform is really about. However, since Leph Louie moves seamlessly through various forms of rap, audiences still get that new flavor without sacrificing what Hip Hop truly is. The industry is truly lucky to have Leph and he feels the same releasing new album “Lucky 7” end of August 2018. Enjoy the Leph Louie experience – new school rap with old school spice. Stay tuned for the VA native’s upcoming new music and tour dates.
